Kraus-Anderson Construction promotes Camille Helou to Senior VP and Pat Mulcahey to VP

Kraus-Anderson Construction has promoted Camile Helou to senior vice president and Pat Mulcahey to vice president. Working from the company’s Minneapolis office, they both will continue to serve as directors of operations.
Camile Helou – Senior Vice President
Helou started in the construction industry in 1995 and joined KA in 2001 as a project manager. In 2010, he was named vice president and director of the company’s healthcare group, guiding its growth to become one of the nation’s top 20 healthcare construction management teams, according to Modern Healthcare. In 2019 he was named co-director of operations for the Minneapolis office.
Helou has overseen notable healthcare construction projects, including the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis; Regions Hospital Birth Center and HealthPartners Neuroscience Center in St. Paul; Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville; and Brookings Health System in South Dakota.
Helou received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Construction Management from Washington University, St. Louis, Mo. He holds a Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) and is a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).
Pat Mulcahey – Vice President
Mulcahey joined KA as a project manager in 2001, specializing in K-12 education construction, and in 2019 became construction executive for the K-12 Education Construction Group. In 2022 he was named co-director of operations for the Minneapolis office.
Mulcahey has worked on more than 138 projects totaling over $1.5 billion for Minnesota school districts, including Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Waseca, Eastern Carver County, Wayzata, Duluth, Forest Lake, South Washington County, and Independent District 622. Mulcahey also managed construction in other market sectors, including projects for Scheel’s, Cabela’s, Winfield Solutions, and Key Aviation/Anoka Airport.
Mulcahey earned a B.A.S. in Construction Management from the University of Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota Association of School Maintenance Supervisors and serves on the University of Minnesota Construction Management Advisory Committee.
