Kraus-Anderson Insurance adds key business development positions to support strategic growth

Kraus-Anderson Insurance, a national leader in commercial insurance and risk management services, has boosted its business development team to support the company’s continued growth. KA Insurance has hired Andrew Creary and Joe Tietema as business risk consultants, and Shannon Strom and Nick Swanson as benefits advisors.
KA Insurance is recognized as one of the Midwest’s foremost privately held insurance agencies, distinguished for its comprehensive risk management solutions and consultative services in property/casualty, employee benefits, surety and risk management.
Andrew Creary comes to KA Insurance from Kansas City-based Lockton Cos. where he served as a business and risk consultant helping organizations manage their property/casualty insurance programs. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. He is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM).
Shannon Strom served as the vice president of growth at Elevate Advisory Group, a prominent employee benefits firm based in Plymouth, Minn. She also was the regional sales director at TASC, a leading national third-party benefits administrator, where she garnered recognition as one of the nation’s top producers. Strom holds a BA in Spanish from the College of Saint Benedict.
Nick Swanson was the founder of Ezra Insurance Group, an independent health insurance agency serving to western Wisconsin, specializing in Medicare, individual, and group health insurance solutions. Swanson holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Augsburg.
Joe Tietema previously was a commercial lines advisor for Assured Partners of Minnesota, which provides a full suite of business and personal insurance. Tietema received a BS in Marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
