Kraus-Anderson to construct new $2 million building for Bemidji Ambulance Service

BEMIDJI, Minn. (September 2018) – The Bemidji office of Kraus-Anderson will construct a new $2 million building for Bemidji Ambulance Service.
The building will feature six ambulance bays, 12 staff sleeping rooms, two living rooms, two sitting rooms, three offices and four restrooms with showers. The project will also include a common kitchen area, unisex restroom, conference room, medical storage room and common laundry room.
Bemidji Ambulance Service, the largest privately owned ambulance service in Minnesota, responds to more than 4,800 calls for service each year. Its full-time Advanced Life Support service staffs four duty crews 24/7, 365 days of the year.
Designed by Karvakko, P.A., construction has begun and is expected to be completed in early 2019.
