Angela Lakedon Wins September 2023 Core Values Award

Angela Lakedon, payroll accountant from the Minneapolis office, won the September 2023 Core Values Award. Sandy Hammer submitted the nomination. It reads:

“With the loss of a key role in HR, Angela has been instrumental in helping the team work through unfamiliar territory. Below is a statement from another employee about Angela’s commitment to the team:

She’s a team player, as well as an employee who’s willing to step outside her day-to-day role for the overall betterment of Kraus-Anderson.

Angela assisted with a variety of responsibilities. She’s an amazing partner and ensures all employees are being taken care of. She makes sure everything is running smoothly without complaint— in fact, with a happy, collaborative attitude that we all so very much appreciate.

She deserves a very big pat on the back. She really has been a lifesaver.”

This rings true to Angela’s work ethic and how she cares about KA and its employees. She will go out of her way and never says, “it’s not my job,” even when sometimes it is not in fact part of her job. She just steps up when needed, with a smile on her face, and doesn’t complain about the extra workload that comes across her desk. Angela truly exemplifies the meaning of KA’s core values and I am reminded of that every day. ”
