Dan is an outstanding contributor to North Dakota’s continuing success story. As an NDSU grad, accomplished construction professional, and active member of the community, Dan demonstrates the conscientious, industrious and civic-minded service that are hallmarks of our region’s prosperity.
Background and Education
Dan graduated from NDSU in 2010 with a degree in Construction Management and has been with KA since 2017. Working on often large and complex projects for healthcare, government, and higher education stakeholders, Dan brings a calm demeanor and leadership presence to clients and project teams. Dan has also returned to his alma mater as a guest lecturer for construction management classes and serves as an advisor on the NDSU Construction Industry Advisory Council. In fact, Dan has been an excellent role model and resource for numerous NDSU students interested in entering the construction industry.

Recent Work Highlights
Dan recently completed construction of the NDSU Nodak Insurance Football Performance Complex, a new $45.2 M state-of-the-art 144,000 SF indoor training facility for the NDSU football team and other men’s and women’s sports teams. He has also managed a variety of healthcare and public works projects, with notable projects including Bismarck Surgical Associates-Ambulatory Surgical Center, a new 5-operating room, 20-bed ambulatory surgery center; Sanford Bismarck Outpatient Surgery Center, a renovation of an existing building which was once a grocery store and clinic into a 6-operating room 19-bed ambulatory surgery center; City of Bismarck Public Health building, a new 22,000 square foot facility that consolidates staff and healthcare resources under one roof for the city and surrounding communities; and new firehouses for the Williston Rural Fire Department and the West Fargo Fire Departments. He’s proud to play an important part in building up the infrastructure of these and other communities throughout the state.
