Kevin Wiegele Wins Mission Vision Safety Award
Kevin Wiegele is the winner of the KA Construction Company Safety Mission/Vision Award for second quarter 2016.
Kevin is a carpenter foreman for the Minneapolis office. He was nominated by Dan Braaten, general superintendent, in the Minneapolis office. Dan writes:
“Kevin is that carpenter at the Minneapolis office that everyone requests for miscellaneous carpentry work. If you want Kevin, you’d better book him three weeks in advance. No matter the task, Kevin gets it done quickly and safely. It is difficult to figure out how long to schedule him on any job we assign him. He always gets it done more efficiently than we estimate. Safety is always top of mind. Kevin is also that guy that won’t slow down on any task just to complete the work day. I always get a call from him saying, “I’m done, what’s next boss.” Kevin is a real asset to our work force and most superintendents will tell you the same. Rick Lund, Jeff Schlink and Jim Bergren– keep your hands off my guy! I don’t look forward to the day that Kevin decides that he wants to move to the next level, because I know he will excel at it while performing safely.”
