Kevin Wiegele Wins Mission Vision Safety Award

Kevin Wiegele received the KA Construction Company Safety Mission/Vision Award for the second quarter of 2016.

Kevin is a carpenter foreman in the Minneapolis office. Dan Braaten, general superintendent in the Minneapolis office, nominated Kevin for his consistent focus on safety, productivity and quality workmanship.

What Did Kevin’s Nominator Say?

“Kevin is the carpenter at the Minneapolis office that everyone requests for miscellaneous carpentry work. If you want Kevin, you should book him three weeks in advance.

No matter the task, Kevin completes it quickly and safely. It can be difficult to estimate how long to schedule him on a job because he consistently finishes work more efficiently than expected.

Safety is always top of mind. Kevin is also not someone who slows down on a task simply to complete the workday. I regularly get a call from him saying, ‘I’m done. What’s next, boss?’

Kevin is a real asset to our workforce, and most superintendents would say the same. Rick Lund, Jeff Schlink and Jim Bergren, keep your hands off my guy.
