Mary Brickner Wins March 2021 Core Values Award
Mary Brickner is the KA Core Values Award winner for March 2021. She is a Marketing Communications Coordinator out of the Twin Cities office and was nominated by Tom Emison, Vice President of Strategy for Kraus-Anderson Companies. Tom’s nomination reads:
“Launching and now hosting an industry-recognized podcast (KA’s Build Me Up!) on innovation was natural for KA and Mary Brickner, who leads this well. She and her team including Laurisa Titterud, Mary Kaeding (and initial help from Aaron Groshong in KA Realty) have really excelled. Mary has consistently and rigorously scoured topics of interest to subscribers. Then she thoughtfully features innovation stories from across our industry for our industry. In each episode, BMU! guests have reflected on the importance of people in innovative companies, the application of technology, the culture factor, and the importance of being disruptive vs. being disrupted. We have now told over a dozen specific innovation stories featuring KA clients and business partners. Each episode is deep enough to attract subscribers, but short enough to listen to on the fly. Feedback from guests and subscribers is overwhelmingly positive. Mary Brickner has stepped into the Host role, is always well prepared and fun!”
