Mike Smoczyk Wins October 2020 KA Core Values Award
Mike Smoczyk is recipient of the October Core Value Award. He is the Director of Professional Development out of the Twin Cities office. He was nominated by Diane Toll, who writes:
“Mike is deserving of this award for the amazing work he does for us in leading our Learning and Development efforts through KAU. Not only has he acquired grants that have allowed us the opportunity to continue to provide a variety of learning & development opportunities, he also leads our efforts with our LDP, EDP, KAU, Mentor Program, Microlearning videos, annual Fall Seminar, as well as other areas.
He adds a huge value to our HR team! He provides coaching to employees who want to learn more about developing in their role and inquiring about learning opportunities. Another initiative Mike led, was obtaining training through LinkedIn Learning which has been great to be able to offer a huge spectrum of training that can benefit ALL of our employees. In addition to all of this, Mike also has been instrumental in our relationship with school superintendents that has led to partnerships benefitting KA. Thanks, Mike, we appreciate you.”
