Naima Mohamed Wins June 2023 Core Values Award

Naima goes above and beyond! On May 18th, one of our summer interns traveled from Alabama to Minnesota and landed late in the evening. He went to check into his temporary apartment, but he quickly learned that he was not given some key information and needed the first month’s rent upon arrival. As he was unsure how to navigate this situation, the intern called Naima for guidance around midnight. She didn’t hesitate to meet up with him and help navigate the rental agreement, as well as book a hotel across the street for the night.

The next morning, Naima worked with accounting to see what they could work out to get the intern’s rent situated, but she didn’t stop there. She met the intern on Monday morning and rode the Green Line with him on his first day of work to make sure he had it all figured.
