BEMIDJI, Minn. (May 2021) – Kraus-Anderson has completed Conifer Villas, a $7 million, 32-unit supportive housing project located on Itasca Loop NW in Bemidji, Minn.

Developed by the Headwaters Housing Development Corporation and designed by Lucachick Architecture, the 39,000-square-foot affordable housing townhome community features one-, two- and three-bedroom units and a separate community meeting space.  Conifer Villas, a provider of housing to those who have been homeless or who have needed special support, also offers services to help its residents live with more stability.

The four 8-unit buildings were constructed to Minnesota Housing requirements including Energy Star certification.  Fifty percent of the units were turned over for occupancy one month early.
