May 6, 2020
WINONA, Minn. (May 2020) – Kraus-Anderson (KA) has completed the final stage of a medical office building on Gundersen Health System’s Winona, Minn. campus.
Designed by HSR Associates, Inc., the 86,000-square-foot renovation converted a former Kmart located at 1122 US Highway 61, which had been vacant since 2014.
The new primary care clinic’s services now open include infusion services, urgent care and a lab. Open May 18, 2020, the clinic’s services will include family and internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health and imaging services. Physical and occupational therapy and an eye clinic will be moved to the new campus.
As part of the renovation, Kraus-Anderson incorporated advanced 3D laser scanning to capture existing structural conditions and to provide a means to coordinate mechanical and electrical installation.
