Bryce Larson Wins Mission/Vision Award

Bryce Larson received the Kraus-Anderson Construction Company Mission/Vision Award for December 2015.

Larson was an office assistant in the Circle Pines office. He was nominated by Bri Ana Vogel, human resources coordinator in the Circle Pines office.

Vogel’s nomination recognized Larson’s positive spirit, commitment to his work, community involvement and dedication to making a difference for others.

“I would like to nominate Bryce Larson for the Mission/Vision Award,” Vogel said. “There is simply not another human being on this planet like Bryce. He is talented in so many ways and brings joy with him to work every day.”

“One thing I particularly love about Bryce is his ability to light up an entire room with his smile,” Vogel said. “When Bryce laughs, you can’t help but join in. There are not many people in this world who have this type of impact, but Bryce does.”

Larson could often be found with a smile as he walked through the hallway to replenish paper in copiers and fax machines. He also stocked supplies in the kitchen while taking time to ask coworkers about their weekends, the latest Vikings game or a wrestling match.

Although Larson enjoyed connecting with coworkers, Vogel noted that he remained committed to completing his responsibilities.

“Bryce does not like to leave a task incomplete,” Vogel said. “He takes ownership of his work and takes great pride in what he does.”

How Does Bryce Larson Support the Ronald McDonald House?

Larson has a passion for helping people less fortunate than himself. Years earlier, he began collecting pop tabs in the Circle Pines kitchen to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.

He shared that he wanted to make a difference for children facing serious illnesses and that collecting pop tabs was one way he could help brighten someone else’s day. Through the years, Larson delivered thousands of pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald organization.

How Is Bryce Larson Involved in the Community?

Larson also participated in events through the Down Syndrome Association, including Step Up for Down Syndrome. He co-captained the Kraus-Anderson team, “Team Bryce and Michelle,” for eight years.

He also helped deliver a keynote presentation at the Down Syndrome Association’s regional conference. He was proud to work for Kraus-Anderson and represented the company in the community by sharing the message that everyone can make a difference.
