Steve Bergerson Receives November 2020 Core Values Award

Steve Bergerson is the recipient of the November 2020 Core Values Award from Kraus-Anderson. He is a Project Superintendent out of the Duluth office. 

Steve’s award nomination comes from Greg Ruberg, President/CEO of Lake View Hospital. 

“I nominated Steve Bergerson for this award because of the effective partnership and trust that he developed with me and my leadership team during Lake View Hospital’s $15M building project in 2019-2020.   Bergie demonstrated KA’s core values while serving in his role as the project superintendent.  I really appreciated his commitment to open and transparent communications, even during challenging situations.  He partnered and collaborated with our hospital leadership team from his first day on-site. This continued until he was transferred to another project after substantial completion of our project.  Steve even took it a step further by offering his ongoing support via phone, email, and to fulfill our request to have him return to Lake View as needed.  He was respectful of our overall business, and to our unwavering commitment to serve our patients, their families, and the community during a global pandemic.  I also appreciated his work ethic, commitment to quality, and accountability with results.  We were able to navigate the entire project without a negative impact to our operations or patient experience. And that speaks for itself.”
